           Jack London's touching story of a dog named Buck and his life's adventures is a success. Most of the humans have a connection to the dog, as he bonds with them, yet is eventually disappointed by them.

           The CGI takes some getting used to, but once you settle into the rhythm of the story, it can be overlooked. The various actors in the story are satisfactory with Harrison Ford, Dan Stevens, & Omar Sy taking command of the screen. pleasurable and more than a few tears are shed along the way.

            A beautifully filmed movie with wonderful locations, sets, costuming. Good acting but not alot of character development accept for Buck. Although the main character is a personified digitally animated dog, Buck is charming, charismatic, and enjoyable to follow along with on his adventurous journey from spoiled house dog, to Yukon Territory hardships, to his eventual THE Call Of The Wild 123movies.

Bad boys for life:

           really want to give this movie a great review based on certain aspects, but I just can't because of how tamed and watered down it is.

           The truly dramatic and moving moments of London's great story have been removed because of fear of upsetting children. I don't care if the powers that be are afraid certain things might upset the kiddies.....if you are too afraid to represent the story faithfully then just don't do it at all.

            I'll admit that with today's politically correct charged climate that the whole story of making the native Americans the bad guys by broken the 3 main characters might be offensive to some people, but completely cutting out the most dramatic and heartbreaking moment of the story when the entire sled team, save for Buck, fall through the ice and die should not have been avoid.
